Long Shot
Places characters whole within their surroundings, so the viewer sees full-body movement, the distance between people and the space around them.

Camera Control

A long shot is the place for blocking and formations. In the prompt, spell out each character's starting point, path and end mark, and name a few fixed landmarks, such as the open door, the device or the railing, that the viewer can use to judge distance. Hand details are hard to read at this size, so give important hand action a closer shot.
When several characters meet up or move around a space, sketch each path in a long shot in your storyboard, then shoot the whole blocking with an AI film maker.

Shami and Zlatia are already out of the machine room door, and Kai follows from the doorway with the sealed box; the three move to Pi's left. By the end all five stand in a row by the device, left to right Kai, Zlatia, Shami, Pi and Serelya, and the door stays open.
What to Watch For
Notice the scale: all five are shown full length, yet they fill only a narrow band of the frame, while the machine room, the rooftop and the skyline take up most of it. At the start Kai is still in the doorway while the others have moved off; from about 2 seconds he walks out along the left side of the roof and settles at the far left of the line after 4 seconds, the box held at his side. The camera never moves, so the change in formation comes entirely from the characters walking.
