Camera Control

For a master shot to work, every key person and prop has to be in frame and recognizable at once: here the door, Shami, Kai Miren, Biwa and the sealed box. What to Watch For
The camera never moves from the first frame to the last. Look at how the frame is layered: stone wall, door and Shami in the right foreground, Kai and the stall in the middle ground, Biwa's group mid-alley, and the long run of lanterns and crowds in the distance. Nobody blocks anybody, so without a single cut the viewer knows who is where and who holds the box. Throughout the clip the characters only shift slightly; the shot is there to make the space clear.
