How the Edit Works
The camera is locked off for the whole clip. The panel, the gate and the corridor sit in the same place on either side of every cut; only the people change. There are cuts at roughly 0.1, 1.4 and 2.7 seconds: Kai jumps from Shami's side to the panel, presses it himself, then jumps back beside her, and the panel lights red again in each piece. These jumps were asked for in the prompt and produced within a single generation.
For a jump cut to read as deliberate, the background and camera position have to hold so the difference lands on a character's position or pose. In the prompt, state outright that the camera is completely fixed and the composition unchanged, then give each piece its own position and action. Keep one result repeating, here the red light, so the repetition registers. The output will not always give the action to the right person; in this clip Shami does the pressing in two of the three pieces, so check it second by second before choosing what to keep.

Shami and Kai keep trying the gate. The picture jumps several times: Kai stands beside Shami, then suddenly appears at the panel pressing it himself, and Shami presses it once more; each time the panel lights red. In the end Kai closes his eyes, lowers his head and lets his free hand hang at his side.
What to Watch For
Use the panel and the gate bars as reference points; they never move. At about 0.1, 1.4 and 2.7 seconds Kai's position changes abruptly. The clearest jump comes at 1.4 seconds, when he appears right at the panel pressing it with the box tucked under one arm, and the next cut puts him back beside Shami. The panel turns red again in every piece.
