Cut-In
Cuts from a wider view straight into a detail within the same scene, so the audience sees one key action clearly.
Cut-In AI Video Prompt
Cut-in: cut directly from a medium shot of the stairway to a close-up of Pi's hand as his finger presses a key on the control panel beside the side door. At the end of the segment the key lights up.
How the Edit Works
The cut lands at 1 second. Before it is a wide view of the station plaza with the exterior stair on the right; the next frame is a close-up of the wall panel, with a red sleeve and a finger reaching in from the left. The cut was requested by the prompt within the same generation, with no push-in or zoom bridging the two.
Keep both sides of the cut in the same place and moment, and give the detail a location in the wider shot (here, the panel beside the side door at the top of the stair). Let the close-up carry a single action, with the approach, the press and the light as separate beats, and write a visible result at the end so viewers know the action worked. Check the shot before the cut after generating; here it came out as a plaza wide, looser than the medium shot the prompt asked for.
When a small action decides what happens next in your story, give it its own cut-in panel in the storyboard and produce the close-up with fuse's AI film maker.

Source film EP6 Shot 2 · Station Plaza · 00:00–00:04
After a wide view of the station plaza, the picture cuts to the control panel on the wall at the top of the stair: Pi's hand, in a red jacket sleeve, reaches in and his index finger presses a key, which then glows white.
What to Watch For
The cut is at 1 second: in the wide shot the stair and the crowd take up very little of the frame, and in the next frame the panel and finger fill the screen, with no push-in between them. The camera then holds still as the finger closes in on the key between 1.5 and 2.5 s; once pressed, the key glows white until the clip ends. The cut-in turns an action that was invisible in the wide shot into the subject of the frame.
