Cutting back and forth between two simultaneous lines of action, so one character's attempt and the other's reaction arrive in turns.

Cross-cutting: Suseka presses the reader three times, each harder than the last, and each time the reader lights up red and gives a short rejection beep. Each time the shot cuts to MeiHua, her reactions are, in order: looking down at her card holder; flipping the card holder over and giving it a shake; raising her eyes to look at Suseka with a blank expression and letting out a soft sigh. The rejection beep carries across the cut and can still be heard in MeiHua's shot.
How the Edit Works
The seven seconds hold five cuts and six shots: Suseka at the reader and MeiHua with her card holder, three times each. Every cut to MeiHua comes after the reader has turned red, so her reaction follows each rejection. Both threads escalate on their own terms. Suseka presses with an open palm the first time and knocks with her fist the next two; MeiHua goes from looking down at the holder, to turning it over, to closing her eyes and lifting her gaze.
The two women stand at the same door, yet no shot holds both of them, and the alternation itself splits them into two threads. The cuts were requested beat by beat in the prompt and produced in a single generation; the prompt also asks the rejection beep to carry over each cut into MeiHua's shot. For your own version, list each action and its reaction as a pair, in order, and keep each side's camera position and background fixed (reader on the right, wheel handle behind) so viewers recognize which thread they are returning to. Writing the cuts into the prompt does not guarantee each one lands where you want it, so check the result frame by frame.
When two things happen at once in your story, pair each attempt with its reaction in the storyboard, then build the intercut sequence with the AI film maker.

What to Watch For
Count the cuts: Suseka and MeiHua each appear three times, and each switch comes right after the reader turns red. Then compare how each side changes. Suseka's open palm becomes a fist on the second and third try; MeiHua goes from looking down at the holder, to turning it flat with both hands, to a brief closed-eye pause before lifting her gaze. Every return to a character matches the framing and background of her previous shot, which keeps the two threads easy to follow.
