Camera Control
A vertigo effect moves the camera and the focal length in opposite directions: as the camera pushes toward the subject, the lens widens, so the subject keeps the same size while the background perspective stretches. Here the camera faces the gate, Shami stands in the foreground with her back to it, and the corridor behind the bars is the background meant to stretch.
For it to work, the foreground subject has to hold its size, and the background needs strong depth lines such as a corridor, light strips or bars so the warping is visible. This clip only partly gets there: late in the shot the corridor reads deeper, but Shami grows, drifts to the right edge and goes soft as focus moves to Zlatia. A prompt can pin down the foreground subject's position and size for the full duration more firmly.

What to Watch For
Compare the first and last frames. At the start Shami is centered and sharp from the chest up, hiding most of the corridor behind the bars. By the end she is larger, pushed to the right edge and out of focus, and the corridor beyond the gate shows a long run of ceiling lights that seems to reach much farther. Zlatia appears near the left panel at about 0.75 seconds and walks up to the gate, and focus shifts from Shami to her. The foreground subject does not hold her size, so the unease here comes mostly from the deepening background and the focus change.
