Handheld Shot

The camera moves with the characters as if carried by someone running beside them, keeping the audience inside the rush of the chase.

Handheld Shot AI Video Prompt

Handheld shot + fast motion: On the north side of the main corridor, the camera tracks east with the cart, keeping the direction of the cart's front and the push handle at the rear readable. This part plays at a super-fast pace: the floor and stacks of crates visibly sweep past behind the characters, and the spin of the wheels and White's movement with the cart speed up together. Biwa and Suseka run up from behind, catch up and run alongside the cart; Handheld shot back to normal speed: Keep tracking from the same side. White still grips the push handle, and the lamp cart keeps sliding east at high speed; Suseka holds out the hand with the crystal, and Biwa takes that same crystal. Biwa moves the crystal above the slot at the front of the cart, ready to fit it. At the end of the segment the crystal is only in Biwa's hand and not yet in the slot; the lamp is still flickering and the cart is still moving fast.

Camera Control

The segment uses two camera positions. For the first four seconds the camera is just ahead of the cart, low and backing away as the cart comes at it; White pushes from behind, crates flash past the edges of the frame, and Suseka and Biwa run up from the far end to either side of the cart. At the four-second mark it cuts to a side view, and the camera runs level with the cart at the same speed, holding the characters mid-frame while the crates slide past behind them.

The point of a handheld shot is that the camera moves to the rhythm of the people it follows. In the prompt, say which side of the characters the camera is on, which way it travels and how close it stays. Keep the front of the cart and the push handle readable in every angle, and when you switch to the side, make the direction of travel match the previous angle. If you want visible shake, write it in explicitly; the shake in this clip is light.

For a chase or a race against the clock, note in your storyboard which side the camera runs on and who it stays beside, then shoot your own handheld sequence in the fuse AI film maker.

White pushes the lit lamp cart along the main corridor while Suseka and Biwa run up from behind and draw level on either side. After the switch to the side, the two keep running with the cart and lift the blue-glowing crystal above the lamp; it is still in their hands.

What to Watch For

In the first half the camera backs away ahead of the cart, which keeps charging toward the lens. This part is sped up: crates whip past the edges of the frame, and Suseka and Biwa close in from deep in the corridor. At about four seconds the picture cuts to the side and the camera runs level with the cart; the characters barely shift in the frame, the crates behind them slide backward, and their legs blur with motion. Notice that the cart's front and push handle are readable in both angles. By the end the crystal hovers above the lamp, not yet set into any slot.
