Use Dappled Light: sunlight passing through existing courtyard foliage creates irregular organic patches of light and leaf shadow on the existing pale wall, floor and a limited part of the original character. Relate the projected patches to the existing upper-right trailing foliage and nearby leafy plants; change only their illumination, never add branches or change foliage geometry.
