Desaturation
Reduce color intensity so that tone, texture or a small amount of retained color can take greater visual priority.
Prompt
Reduce overall color saturation to about one quarter of the original, while retaining the existing crimson jacket at a restrained roughly half of its original saturation. Preserve dark skin luminance, midtone detail, the jacket's exact graphics, blue-jeans texture and subject-background separation. The result is muted color with one modest red accent, not a darker exposure and not a fully monochrome cutout.

Effect comparison
In the baseline image, Pi's red coat, blue trousers and the courtyard each have distinct colors. Desaturation restrains the overall palette, bringing the stone walls and paving closer to gray and making the red coat less intense. With less stimulation from color, the figure's pose and tonal relationships become more prominent, giving the scene a quieter appearance.
